Aim for the Moon and You Might Hit the Roof
Universal Library says that its mission is to have one million books on-line and full text by the end of this year (That’s an estimated 300-500 million pages). So far they have around 250,000.
Classy
Every joke I had for this managed to offend me before I was through writing it.
Panorama
You have to see this. It’s a panorama of St. Peter’s Square that has been rendered into an interactive using QuickTime. It may take a moment to load if you don’t have a fast connection, but I think it’s well worth the wait. After it loads you can use your mouse to move your perspective. […]
Music to Drive To and My Testimonial for XM
I can’t remember where I saw this, but a while back I read an article that listed the top, well I don’t remember, the top however many songs you should never listen to while driving. Number one on that list was Ride of the Valkyries. Supposedly it will make you drive more aggressively. Well, today […]

Jaquiss’ story revealed the “30-year Secret” that led to the downfall of one of Oregon’s most influential politicians, helped foster a public backlash against corporate greed, and exposed a conspiracy of silence, favoritism, and scandal among the […]
Breathe Easy…And Good Luck
Just wanted to say I admire my academic brethern that have just taken the written part of their M.A. exam. The whole thing seems daunting as hell, and I hope I seem as sane as all of you next semester when my time is up. And good luck on the oral. I’m rooting for you […]
Irritating
This is kind of a non sequitur…but then again isn’t everything on a blog? One of the things I make a concerted effort to do, is to make a list, mental or otherwise, of actions or habits I like or dislike about people in my profession. I then try to make sure that I either […]
Insanity!
Blogger is driving me bleedin’ insane! Every entry I write either a) Posts twice 2) Errors out before actually posting, thereby losing all my work (Yes, I’ve starting saving my work before I publish, but that loses all indentations, tabs, etc.) This is what I feel like doing every time Blogger decides to misbehave.
